Got a chance to get out and put another 200 rnds through the ACR yesterday.

Zeroed my irons at just past 50 and the Acog out to 100 (w/ BDC out farther but this particular range stopped at 100). I ran 100 rnds of AE .223 (yellow box) with a 1" group at 100 then another 100 of HSM with opened up to about 2.5", all in all a great day at the range.

All on the bench, it'd be nice to be able to run those groups unsupported

Very True

The HSM I used is orange boxed reloaded brass cased ammo labeled for Police training use.

Picked normally about $20 a box but was on sale for $13, so I picked up 1000rnds for about $270!

Cabelas usually has the Hunting Shack Ammo. It's not bad ammo for the price and probably the only "bulk reloads" I'd trust, though they do offer new production ammo as well.

I was Hitting Golf balls at the range with Xtac at 100 yards, you don't need match ammo for this at a hundred yards although Hunting shack makes excellent ammo. I miss my TA31 because it was fun to shoot golf balls and shotgun shell hulls at a hundred yards. If you want a challenge and you have a range that has it go out to 300 and shoot steel with irons, if you zeroed at 50 yards you should be +/- 2 MOA to 300.

Yeah but 50 yard is the improved BZO, it puts you closer to POA from 25 to 300 then the 25m zero, with the 25m zero your POI is higher than your POA by about 6MOA at 100 yards and this is really bad for an urban environment with Haj not being the primary occupant. At work I have to BZO my rifle at 25m but that's not my choice. With this zero your pretty close to POA so you have less worry about any collateral damage which is a concern if zombies or crackheads attack in your neighborhood.

F**king A--- I'll start stocking up now. I'll need GPS coordinates for when the time comes.

i can give you coordinates to my house. not sure where the bunker is going. im thinking about buying 300 acres with a big pond/small lake or creek running through it. if i do, that's where the bunker is going. might put a mobile home on top and build an entry way between the two.

i need multiple, auto sentry machine guns too. and trip wire claymores. fuck it, im going to start a thread on this
