EDIT: More pics added to page 2!

This is a World Exclusive First Look sneak preview at the Robinson Armament XCR-M 7.62 x 51 caliber rifle. This is still a prototype.

I've attached the files. See the slide show at the bottom of the post. 10gig was sucked out of my photobucket account like candy really quick

Yeah well I sold my XCR waiting for the dam thing. Oh well bought an SR15 and a triple tap with the money. I may buy an SBR version in the future.

I can't say my eyes pick out the ejection port as any smaller than a 5.56, but I'll trust you. And I'm assuming you mean the brass deflector is bigger, closing up the port, not that the ejection port is cut smaller. Is the 5.45x39 case that much smaller than a 5.56x45? I would've guessed less than a 1/4 inch.

It appears those are Pmags, do the 5.45x39 run fine in 5.56x45 mags?

Sorry buddy. I misread your question. I thought you asked about 5.56. I am not aware of a 5.45x39 conversion kit yet. So I would dare to say no not yet.

Hmmmm, very interesting and actually a good looking rifle. I am so conflicted whether to take the plunge or not with robarms. But my past dealings with Dornhaus & Dixion as well as Holloway Arms has really left a sour taste in my mouth when it comes to smaller firearms companies.

I hope that it is released as promised and will prop the company up to a higher level.

More pics of the XCR-M. Including a closer look at the new gas system. The action is quite different when compared to an XCR-L. You can see a difference under the vent hole right away. It's not just an enlarged XCR-L.

There is also a better look at the charging handle side.

On the 2nd picture of the gas block, it that the gas adjustment instead of being up front?
