Not really. It's not a muzzle break so it provides zero muzzle rise reduction. It is alttle more effective in reducing muzzle flash compared to the A2 birdcage. But it also produces a metal "ping" noise when you fire due to the open front design, (acts like a tuning fork)Hey there. Just ordered a Basic Folder and was wondering if it's worth the $60 to purchase the AAC Blackout that comes standard with the Enahanced? Are the benefits other than the reduced flash?
Thanks
Are you happy with / did you notice a large change with it in relation to muzzle rise performance ?I went with a YHM Phantom comp/brake for $20 and it looks badass.
YMMV, but the AAC BRAKEOUT has a top port specifically designed to combat muzzle rise, and the "flash hider" end actually cuts down flash much better than most comps. PLUS, you can mount a can on it.Are you happy with / did you notice a large change with it in relation to muzzle rise performance ?
Aside from how cool it looks ?
AAC's break/hider is $100, seems like better money spent on the YHM for the same results.
thats the only reason i like it.PLUS, you can mount a can on it.
its standard ar15 threads, 1/2"-28Im gonna hijack this thread for a sec and ask what is the Muzzle Brake thread ratio or whatever lol
some suppressors might mount up to it if they mount up to a standard a2 flash hider, i'm not sure if any of the suppressors mount up to the aac blackout (non mount)So the stock FH on the ACR enhanced accepts a can?
