Anyone here play video games?

I've got to admit, I am a big kid and gaming never got old for me as I grew up. I mostly into adventure games like Zelda and stuff like that. I also am a big fan of action RPGs. A few years ago a buddy of mine got me into Call of Duty. I've never played first person shooters before, but I gotta admit, I was hooked. Modern Warfare 2 was amazing.
Anyone else here get into this kind of stuff?

That's what im playing now. Obviously this fall ill be all over gears of war 3, battlefield 3, and modern warfare 3. Also excited about the new forza and mass effect that are coming out

I a PC gamer, love the battlefield series. Been wasting time with it starting with BF2, BF2142 and now Bad Company 2. Looking forward to BF3 on 10/25/2011.

Crysis 1 & 2 are real good. The new socom isn't bad. Portal 2 is real good.the forza series I love. The new ghost recon will be awsome. Cod mw2. Was real good. Didn't like black ops so much. Also I don't have internet at the house so my games have short life spans.

IF you really like Millitary shooters I would suggest Battlefield Bad Company 2. That game makes COD look like garbage. BFBC2 Is way more realisitic in regards to ballistics, destructable buildings, and player controlled vehicles. ANything from Apache helios to M1 Abrams to the big Russian bad boy tanks. BF3 looks amazing. If you play xboxlive or anyone here does and wants to hit me up my tag is davidsonandrw. I play mostly Battlefield and the new Mortal Kombat. And gears 3 looks amazing.

i tried to get into battlefield bad company, but i didnt like it too much.. i guess i was used to the fast and furious game play of modern warfare.. part 2 does look promising though. my 360 recently bit the dust on me, red ring of death, so i gotta get it fixed before i get back onto xbox live. i was mostly playing black ops when it crashed. ive been dying to play portal 2, but havent had time to pick it up, plus i got a few games still in the plastic im waiting to finish before buying anything new. since my 360 crashed, ive been playing MGS4 on my PS3. ive beaten it many times over, but i like to fire it up once or twice a year and give it a go. also Gears 3 is looking freaking awesome.. i missed out on the beta since my 360 was dead, but my friend got to play through it and he loved it. i definitely gotta get my shit fixed before it comes out.

Been playing MW2 and Black Ops on PS3 for a bit now. I really enjoy it for some (much cheaper than paying for real ammo) stress relief. It's always rewarding to see your K/D climb after a good night of killin' .

While I agree that the destructable environments are more realistic, BFBC2 unfortunately doesn't quite capture "realism," nor remotely "make COD look like garbage." Some physics certainly trumps none, but the destruction is clearly over the top, and lacks depth. Having some ballistics is nice too, but that doesn't nearly make up for a mundane campaign and environment. MW2 is definitely more fun to play than BFBC2, at least for me. It has a much more fluid cinematic feel to it which is a lot more exciting than BC2. What I really liked recently was the campaign for Medal of Honor (played it while PSN was down), as the physics were even better IMO, and the characters much more lifelike. I'm hoping BF3 improves the physics and fluidity of the game, and incorporates the realism of MoH to become the best one yet. Way looking forward to MW3 too.

Lets remember, the first console gamers were born in 1977 with the Atari 2600, which was 34 years ago. A lot of gamers are 25+ out there.

Hell, I know I will still be playing games when I 50. Though, I only play on PC these days.

Yeah. Eve since I got xbox live (deputy23) I got addicted to the Call of Duty series. I play COD Black Ops exclusively because I tend to loose ability when I change formats. I want to get LA Noire, but I know I won't touch it. I can't wait for Modern Warfare 3 in November.

Ah yes, definite gamer here.

As are alot of you guys on a rifle forum (who'd a guessed?) I'm into FPS games. Though I get into the other genres as well.

I'm on PS3 (Romel78), and Xbox Live (RomelS78).

I got L.A. Noire last weekend and it plays really well. Just think Grand Theft Auto with crime scene investigation elements.

My gaming time has gone significantly down thanks to my little 3 month old daughter, but oh well, definitely worth it.

It definitely is alot cheaper to play FPS than to go to the range, but of course the range is much preferred.

Ever since the days of Doom, I've never been a fan of deathmatch or CTF...maybe because I suck. I have more fun working a campaign in co-op. I've lost plenty of sleep (and my temper) over Spec-Ops missions on Modern Warfare 2. Black Ops zombies...meh.

i finally broke down and got me a world of warcraft account. this isnt my normal type of games i play, but i have a friend who has been insisting i try it out. blizzard is giving away free accounts right now up until level 20 so i figured i would give it shot. been playing for a few days and i really like it. anyone else getting down on world of warcraft?

Armed Assault 2 through and through. Makes Call of Duty look exactly like what it is- an ego shooter. And even ArmA 2 has its shortcomings as an Infantry Simulator.

I played World Of Warcraft for 3 years, that game is dead now. They have ruined the game by catering to the bad players. I would suggest not wasting your time, unless you have 30+ hrs a week to put into it your char will not be able to compete in anything fun, but after I quit I realized I never really enjoyed the game as much as the people I played with, so if you have alot of friends who play alot. Have at it.
