Alright so if you remember the other "Tracking" thread I posted a while ago after ordering a drop in replacement barrel system from Bushmaster you remember where it ended up. Backorder dates became an insulting moving target. Fortunately crmann came through and I was able to obtain one that way. This thread will track my barrel service with ADCO to cut it down to a 12.5" and modify the components to function properly.

5/16/11 Package arrived, inspected (looked great btw)
5/17/11 Barrel repackaged and sent to ADCO
5/20/11 Package arrived at ADCO

Wow! That's a kickass price! Now, who want's to sell me their spare barrel assembly cheap???

With the service I've received so far, I would happily advertise ADCO for custom work.

Hey Dan,

I'm pretty sure they offer pinning services. I think DSM had that done by them awhile back.

Hey guys,

DSM was kind enough to remind me to make assure that all legal parties were aware that everything is in proper order.

Barrel is on it's way back from ADCO
My Form 1 is in Pending Status
Looking to have Orion engrave the reciever

The Barrel will be immediately left with one of my FFLs upon arrival, it will NOT touch the reciever

Yes they do pinning. I've had them do that a few times and they do very good and quick work.

5/27/11 Package arrived from ADCO! That was total of 6 business days from the time the barrel hit their shop to my door step!

I can't say enough about their customer service and work. The Barrel came out EXACTLY how I'd requested it, right down to where I wanted the barrel refinished up to so as not show a break in the finish. It is now sitting in my FFL's safe until my Form 1 arrives. till then I won't be able to assemble or test fire, but I am fully confident in their work.

Next Tracking Thread will be for Orion's Engraving work on my reciever.

oh god you dont even realize lol, i had my 10.5 ready about a month before my form came back
