Anyone here into survival/preparation for SHTF/Red Dawn scenarios? Ive always been into preparing for the worst, but I've recently been giving it more thought. Been stocking up and preparing a little bit here and there. Basic stuff mostly like a 5 day bag for me and my family.. short term food/water storage and some basic survival equipment to include firearms and plenty of ammo. I live in Southern Arizona and we are battling some pretty serious wildfires now. The fires have made it's way on the base today and everyone is going apeshit. I'm glad I've been preparing cause I am in pretty decent shape if things get worse. These fires lately really made me start considering the legitimacy of having a good plan for surviving in worst case scenarios. Anyone else share these views or am I just paranoid??

If you are into this, post some of the stuff you have, i.e bugout bags content, firearms, ammo etc...

I will post up my layout too.

I mostly learned wilderness survival. What to eat and how to make shelter in the wild with nothing. Pretty worse case scenario stuff but I had stayed the night in the woods in a shelter I built and it poured that night. I didn't feel a drop. As far as the preparation for disaster its a hood idea for anyone to at least have a supply of food water and a source of protection.
