Okay - So people who taught how reliable the AK is, I call BS. The Afghani's AK blew up... sad but typical. I can't tell you how many times I have seen AK's blow up, fall apart when shooting, etc. No way is the AK as reliable as a properly maintained AR. Also, if you notice the operator did not run his gun on full auto. So to those who wish they could buy FA like you can SA, I say why when it is not needed. But that is a whole other discussion. I am surprised Youtube, lets this be shown. I know it does not show anyone actually getting shot, but still.

That is very interesting. What is the usual culprit for such a catostrophic failure? The only thing that I could think of would be overloaded reloads.

...the AK the afghan had was hit from an insurgents round...it didn't blow up...it probably saved his life for a sec. till he ran outside and got shot...and i bet you his AK still worked... what's hilarious is that the word "unreliable" was thought of near the letters AK...wtf?...hahahaaa...."typical" my ass...
