Hi: I would like to know, if I cut my barrel to 10.5" or 12", do I have to modify the gas system so it can cycle properly?, or just cut it and keep going? Appreciate any help on this matter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PD: sorry about my english writing (I'm from Puerto Rico (USA)

Check bogdog's thread for how he did a 10.5" barrel. I'd stick with the standard gas port on the 12" barrel and sneak my up to the proper diameter. I've seen a couple folks here and there that have over-gassed rifles with a 12" barrel.

You guys have to do the tax stamp thing down in Puerto Rico too? Never really thought about it 'til now.

good luck sir, if you drill the gas block get a cobalt drill bit, and hardened steel taps, i'm not sure about the right size gas port so i just did it that way
