Does anyone know if we will be able to get the hand guard, and barrell from remington? as well as a better safety swith? I hate the flimsy plastic one.

Not now, but that could all change. I'm hoping that some neat stuff for the ACR will be announced at the shot show.

I think the barrels are already Remington made since they are CHF. BM stated they will be doing LW barrels shortly, I'd expect after the new year yet though. I heard mention of 14.5" w/ pinned muzzle devices too.
What's important to remember is that no matter whose name is rollmarked on the rifle it's still going to be made from the same parts. It won't stop the South Park Eric Cartmann spatterings of, "I've got a Remmy ACR, who wants to touch me?" posts but it's still the truth.
