Hey all... probably should be posting this in the Optics and Sights section but it's specific to the standard MBUS sight that comes with the ACR.

After getting my ACR back from the BM recall (a good experience all in all) I finally got to the range to zero in my rifle. Got it sighted in at 25 yrds easy enough but now the front sight post is basically finger tight. I can actually make adjustments just using my fingers.

My concern is this is too loose for the front sight. I can only imagine this post twisting in the wind with every shot fired (the recoil has more force than my fingers I would imagine).

Thoughts? Should I call BM and get a new front sight sent out?

Thanks for your feedback!

There should be 2 roll pins that came in the MBUS front sight box. Line up one of the post notches and insert the roll pin as a lock.
