Also, just an observation, I have noticed alot of folks that picked up enhanced versions of the ACR have replaced the enhanced handguard with a basic one. I did the same, it just feels better.

i run my charging handle like that, i actually pulled the pin and flipped the plastic right ways too

Yup there are about 4 ways one could run their charging handle by flipping the handle or the mounting plate.
