I may have gotten the wrong primers.....while selecting them I was faced with 2 types for small rifle. Remington had 6-1/2 and 7-1/2 and federal had 205 and I forget the other. I wasn't sure so I searched online and was lead to believe he larger number ones were for more or less magnum small rifle but now im thinking they're for ones with more volume. I am reviewing my sierra book and it says to use 7-1/2 primers. The recipe is for a 69 grain matchking 25.3 grains of varget resulting in 2750fps and 1158 foot Pounds of energy. Unfortunately I primed 12 shiny new brass to get my machines adjustments set up. Now I could just be paranoid but should I not use them?

Should be fine, just work up a new load with those to use up the brick.

Thanks fellas. I got the Remington 6-1/2 and filled up the tube with em. Still got the federal 205 in the box. Ill use the Remington and see. At lease load a few up. Don't want to load them all till I get the 7-1/2 till I see how they shoot. The bullets were just under $25 a hundred and the varget $33 a pound. Hate to waste it.
