Hi all,

picked up a ACR Enhanced maybe 5 years ago in a trade, had no idea what a ACR was I just liked the way it looked and accepted the trade. 100% glad I did as I love this thing and will never let it go. Interested in new calibers etc.. and found this forum, can’t wait to gain some platform knowledge.

Welcome! I love the FDE looks awesome!

Looks like you could use an updated brass deflector, and the V2 charging handle to allow for multi-calibers. Both are still pretty easily found.

.450 bushmaster and 300blk barrel conversions are also pretty easily available, the former comes with the bolt head needed for conversion. A lot of coversion kits include the V2 ambi charging handle.

Templar Precision is producing a 7.62x39 lower and conversions if you can find the parts. He’s more than worth a follow on IG or FB.

Welcome to the club and the everlasting wait for the “soon to be perfected” ACR.

Thank you, this is exactly what I was looking for coming to the forum, I’m still learning about this platform, had no idea about the V2 charging handle. I definitely want to grab .450, 300blk and 7.62 conversion’s. You’ve helped me start my list of what I need to do this. Again I really appreciate it.
Welcome, there's plenty of posts and info on here. Just a matter of how much time you have to read it. Some guys on here are pretty crafty and have been able to produce some custom parts for the rifle. I have one of Bigdogs bolt catch/release and its much better than stoock. Templar Precision has some good stuff but he's very busy so it could take time to get work done. He's working on a 7.62x39 conversion kit right now. Marvin Pitts also can do some good barrel work, I have one and it runs well.

Thanks! I’ve definitely skimmed some reads and have learned a bunch so far in my short time here. The 7.62 conversion has me most intrigued right now, can’twait to pickup some parts this week. Glad their are folks still producing for the ACR.
And you haven’t named your baby yet? Why?????
