Anyone have a new new info on the massoud? I cant seem to find any release date on it and i would love to get my hands on one.
the latest info ive seen about it was a review on tactical life.

Magpul will not get into the firearms business. They don't want the headaches. That is why they nixed plans for their own line of lowers.

If they don't sell the Massoud design to Bushmaster or Remington, don't expect to see it.

I hope somebody does pick up the massoud. If it does go into production I think Bushmaster will have it for Civvies. I wish Remington would have a civvie version of both for us.

I wouldn't mind seeing someone like Knight Armament picking it up and manufacturing it. At least you know KA wouldn't butcher it and then jack the price up. Someone like Stag or Olympic would get it with our luck.

Want I want to know about the massoud is would you be able to swap lowers and shoot AR15 cartridges through it. Being able to shoot 308. and 223. through the same gun would be awesome. One rifle for everything.

the magazine weld would be an issue to consider, maybe they can design an adapter to accommodated the smaller .223/5.56 cartridge. my 2 cents from a Forum Lurker

Colt is releasing something like that soon. They posted some teaser pics on one of the gear geek sites not too long ago.
