I posted a while back that I was a little unhappy with the Magpul MBUS for my primary sights and I have been looking around. Decided to go with the LMT BUIS, essentially a AR style carry handle/sights without the handle. I had originally intended to not buy optics so not being able to fold down wasn't a big issue for me and these seem sturdy enough for primary use. I figure if I do get optics I will throw the MBUS back on there since they will be backup at that point. Just thought I'd share with the group. Now I wait for the mailman.

I'm hoping that isn't the case, I'm hoping not have to spend any more money. I think most BUIS are designed to be interchangeable with any combo, guess I will find out. My front sight post is almost cranked down all the way, since I was shooting 2 feet low when I zeroed so there isn't much more I can go in that direction if I need to make any drastic adjustments.

you might be OK then since it's way down...if anything since the rear looks taller you might have to crank the front up. Don't give up if you can't zero it in at 50 yds...try it at 100 as well before you pack it in. You might be able to get a different front to screw in your front MBUS
Good Luck
