I've read a few reviews about this K-15 system. Seems like some people love it while a few others absolutely hate it.

I'm still debating the practical use/concept of using a non-infrared laser on a carbine. Unorthodox positions where one couldn't acquire a proper sight picture sure, but are there any other areas of advantage?

An escalation of force tool, fire control tool if you're with others. Other than looking cool I wouldn't have much use other than the house critters would probably like to chase it around the floor.

We could shoo people away with a pen laser. Hollywood finally made itself useful.

Not too long ago we had to make a stop on the middle of a highway (if you could call this dirt road a highway) and re-adjust a load we were bringing in. Off in the distance you could see a couple Jingle trucks heading towards us. Obviously we need to get them to stop so I flash them with a weapon light attached to a borrowed M4. They stop at first, but then become brazen and start moving up. A buddy see's this and steps up and lases the cab. The truck comes to an immediate halt and they're headlights turn off as well.

Has anyone ever messed with any Vector Optics stuff? From what I have seen and read about it seems to be pretty decent for Chicom stuff.

not yet but i need something, i was testing my nod's on my fast bump (left eye) and with a micro i cant properly bring up the dot to my eye since its such a small tube, or if i do catch the dot it goes away quickly, so now i'm going to be looking for a small ir laser, i'm thinking of trying to get a peq15 but maybe the dbal a2 would do too

i really wish they had a ir version of the x400 since rail space is very limited now

Goteron mentioned that he can convert the TLR2 to run an IR laser. Maybe talk to him about sonverting the X400?
