Does any one have a lead on an ACR piston spring(action spring) After going to 12.5", the extra gas has mangled mine. I called Bushmaster, but you guys know how that went.

i need one too, but mine was getting screwed up with the 16" barrel, the 10.5 definately didnt help life for it, still runs fine but the spring is shaped like a funnel at the one end

Same shape here. It's also developing a "L" shape bend on the end closest to the barrel nut. By the way, the 12.5" is still not running with the m4-2000 attached. I think I wanted the ACR to be what I expected, instead of allowing it time to mature as a platform. . . oh well.

Try the folks at Wolff springs, they might have something that'll fit in the interim.

Well, I haven't had any troubles with my rifle in that respect but I've worked with the folks at Wolff before on replicating an action spring on a friend's old .22 rifle. They were plenty helpful.

Bushmaster's reply was "looks like it's backordered and there's no ETA. Try our distributors like Midway and Brownells". I would gladly give them my 3 bucks if they had any springs to offer.
