...didn't know if you guys knew about this, but i was window shopping on GEISSELE's website and it said the super acr trigger will be "available in march"...i guess it makes you feel a little better when they bend the wire for you...hahahaa

If it's like anything else brand specific, it will be pricey!! :)

Did you use the stock ACR spring, or modify the spring that came with it? How is it holding up?

I know, questions questions....:)

It was a direct swap, i used the Geissele spring and just made sure i had pressure against the latch to the trigger pack wall to keep the spring from coming out of that little groove. It popped out the first try but when i tried the second time it stayed in and works with no problems. I would not want to use the stock spring because the Geissele one is a measured weight of pull.

Excellent, thanks for response. I'm hoping that once parts are available for the ACR, I will buy a trigger pack housing and install an after market trigger of some kind. Than I can switch them out quickly when I want.

That trigger looks made for this rifle. Great install!

Have you been able to fire it at the range yet? I'm curious to how it performs for you. I'm itching to push "add to cart" when March rolls around.

Hmm, don't know. Bushmaster provided an updated gas regulator to that fella having trouble with his rifle on youtube. Was maybe this guy having trouble with his rifle and this was a gimme for having a broke rifle? Either way, a Geisselle in an ACR has to be full of win.

Checked Geissele's website. Still says coming in March 2011 for the Super ACR. What doesn't make sense is he posted that picture in November of last year. I'm not sure if Geissele even announced the Super ACR then.

...yea i don't doubt they'll be expensive but man if you haven't tried a geissele compared to some stock triggers its night and day...i'd get one now, but the rumors about the spring being shorter and people having spring installation problems has definitely made me wait to see what the "super acr" is going to be...i think it'd be a good idea to make 'em in the trigger pack...hopefully they don't add 50$ for the extra plastic...

NO, On the geissele website it states, Since we have received some inquiries about this trigger, please note that our trigger assembly will NOT include the "box" that comes with the rifle from the factory.
that sucks...

Thats to bad, a drop in trigger pack would have been a winner.

Ok I hear you, but why then are they making a distinction and calling in a " super ACR" trigger? I don't expect anybody to have an answer. How different or special can Geissele have in mind to offer us for our ACR's?
