Remington said less than $2000 so that could be from $1500 - $1999. Of course that doesn't apply to Gunbroker.com and the price gouging that goes on there. On GB we could see them as high as $3000 ???

3K? Remember what happened with the SCAR? That firs round had em' going (yes, people actually buying) for $8K :)). I think we'll see the same thing unless Rem/Bushmaster ships a ton of them at first. No reason not to. If the price is at or below 2K, I'm sure they will sell every last one! I don't think there's ever been a higher demand for any other rifle. Of course, no matter how many they make, they may not be able to keep up with demand :(

That could be what they're trying to prevent now. Delaying the release until early 2010 could be for them to build a sufficient number of them to satisfy projected demand.

Each configuration of the commercial ACR is offered in a non-reflective, black finish or Coyote Brown (30118). Suggested retail price: Basic $2,685 and Enhanced $3,061.

This is in the press release section now on the Bushmaster website. . . ouch.

OUCH!!! $2,685 for the base rifle!! and thats MSRP!! not even what will actually be on store shelfs!! I think my dreams of owning one have been crushed.... well.. may be not, Its just going to hurt a lot droping that amount of cash....on just one rifle. Darn it! it better live up to all the hipe for that amount of money.

Crap... Guess I'll be waiting a little bit longer for an ACR than I expected.

I got two sets of prices from Bushmaster at the SHOT show.
The higher price on Tuesday and about $200 lower on each gun on Friday.

I bet by the end of the year, the gun show price for the standard, fixed stock version will be $2050-2100.

The enhanced version will be about $200-250 more and add another $100 if you want the recon setup (AAC M4-2000 mount).
