I highly doubt bushmaster will ever give a shit about us, but we can hope. Maybe magpul, adco(considering how much business they have gotten from us), optics planet or troy/larue. Those would all be great.

The pontiac g8 forum I belonged to had group buys every so often. One of the forum admins or senior guys or anyone really would goto a company and ask if they got ten or twenty people to buy someting they knock off 20%. Worth a shot. Maybe magpul would set something up with us.

May as well try. I could start a poll and see what people want. Let's start by getting feelers out there. Everyone seems to like the afg's and pmags. Lots already have them. What's everyone want? Is magpul a good place to start? I've got to go away and train for a month so id hate to start something I can't finish right away. If anyone else wants to start this up that would be great.

There's been a lot of promotion on here for ADCO, Troy, Magpul, and others. I don't know how the logistics would go for a "group buy" but it seems that some sort of coupon code for a group discount may be easier.

Those that have been doing this promotion, as has been said, usually already have these items. But if it's a store-wide group coupon code, maybe there could be other things they offer that could be purchased with the discount.

That being said, if a group buy is the way we go, I say a discount on a complete set (front & rear) of full sized folding sights.

That is a good idea. Its tough finding what enough people dont already have. Maybe when 6.8 barrels come out people will want them reprofiled. If we contact adco and tell them how many forum members are previous customers then maybe they'll knock off a bit for 20 new orders or something. I've been reading about it and it seems nice. A group coupon code would be a decent idea. Maybe a sling or something affordable to start. Like I said I can't start anything myself now because I leave for a month next week but if someone wants to start a poll on a manufacturer had be great. I considered blue force gears atacs sling. Not cheap but if we can get however many people together a few dolars off or even free shipping would be a nice start to this thing. One example my g8 forum did was for halo headlights. 10 people would take ten percent off. 20 people 20 percent. They ended up getting the price down from $230 to $180. Not bad. If I liked halo lights enough to pick apart my headlights and the cash to spare I would have done it. I think that worked out because it was a newer company trying to get their products promoted. The things we put on our rifles go on basically any ar. The car stuff was specific. But the manufacture really was willing to reach out to the forum. Finding a company that is driven by its customers is a great help.

I just emailed blue force gear about the push button vickers sling and asked about a group buy or group promo code. Not sure when ill hear back from them being a long holiday weekend. Hope this is a good start. I liked the sling but at +$80 and then shipping its a bit steep. Lifetime warranty though. Im not sure if we should start getting manufacturers representatives on the forum to let us know about new products or what not. Just a start. If they tell me anything ill post it up here. Hope there's at least ten people that would buy the sling. They have all the good patterns. Multicam atacs etc... its the same company that has the sling on the bushmaster website with the acr accessories but this one is padded.
