wondering if anyone has a good guess as to the purpose of the trianglular hole in the fixed ACR stock?- the 2 grooves along the foward edge and the recessed lip and well as the squared hole in the upper corner make me wonder if a modular tool kit or battery storage case may have at leats been prototyped to fit in there-just thinking out loud

I wont get to see mine till sunday. Im trying to picture it. I think I remember. All that comes to mind for me is like magpul had a stock attachment for one of their stocks. Maybe this is for possible future accessories.

My understanding was for primarily storage purposes but I've seen both "flaps" removed to leave the area open. The thought of using it as a base for attachments is a great idea though.

I could see them coming out with a drop in compartment for it. Or at lease tease us with the idea that its possible. Id like a place to store batteries without risk of them falling out when I fire. It'll be neat to see if anything happens.
