Been using H322 podwer to reload 55gr for plinking. Already ran through 2 1lb bottles for $24 each.
Is there cheaper options for plinking for 55gr bullets.
Just want something that is easy to measure and consistant.

Thanks

I usually use H335 for plinking loads in the 55-62gr range. Works good for 69gr pills too. There was a time I'd recommend finding some WC844 surplus powder (similar to 335) but honestly the best bet I'd say is to buy an 8lb jug. You'll spend more up front but save a few bucks in the long run.

I've always used 335 so don't know how it compares to 322 honestly! Since the loads were the same for WC844 and 335 I could always interchange them to whatever I had on hand.

According to burn rate tables that have been published, H332 burns lil' faster than H335.

H335 is a very versitile power. Used to use it for all my .223, .308 and light load 30-06. Friend of mine that just got into reloading also uses it for 6.8spc. When I get back into reloading again, I will use it again. Meters consistantly and seems to burn consistantly across different lots.
