Bought it on Friday, hope to get to the range today. Very similar set up to Irish. First attempt at posting images here: gonna try to copy/paste from another board and see if I can do forum code from where I have the pics up. If not, bear with me as I do the attachments. This one might get edited a few times.

I've got some rail covers on the way to protect the side rails until I mount something on them, if I ever do. I'm not big on throwing lasers and flashlights on my guns. The bipod and foregrip are from Cheaper Than Dirt. Generic bipod and a Mako Group/IDF grip are both airbrushed with Model Master Dark Earth (ANA 617) enamel paint.

I currently have another foregrip/bipod combination on my rifle at work, which will go back on my personal M-4 when I leave my current command.

Nice. Pics worked. Oh, one note, lots of pics are doubles of the same shot with the difference being with or without flash. With the lighting in my spare/gun room at the time, the flash was giving me sharper pictures, but without the flash gives a better representation of color. The Model Master paint I used on my accessories is a very close match, which is well captured with the non-flash pictures.

Nice! That's one helluva rig you got there!

How well does the dot on that Docter sight show up in bright light? I've got an RMR on my FNP but found a place that sells the Docter sights in dark earth that would look sweet on that pistol.

Very well actually. According the the manual it adjusts its brightness based on the ambient light. When I took it to the range today it was sunny and the dot was big and bright. Worked great. I zeroed it with the dot at point of impact at 25 meters when shooting M855.

I noticed in several shots your forearm pin seems to be sticking out any paticular reason for that?
