What's the general consensus about BravoCompanyUSA? I've heard/read a lot of good things about them. Just wondering what you guys thought? I'm thinking about ordering 3 M4 Mod2's from them. One for the old lady and the other two for my close friends. They all want an assault rifle but don't really want to spend a shit ton on a DD. LWRC, ACR etc. If i can get them a good M4 as a basis and help them build them up to be a reliable and accurate, they will be happy. So what do you all think, the M4 Mod2 be a good weapon for them?

I figure a basic M4 with rails and add a decent optic/red dot, BUIS, better pistol grip, foregrip, buttstock, and a BCG upgrade and they should have pretty decent rifles, and they can add all of this with my help as their budgets permit.

BTW, these will be used as range rifles/dicking around on the family land...or so they have at least a decent shooter in the event of a zombie apocalypse (invasion/civil war/actual zombies)

i guess it depends on how much cool stuff you want on your rifle, i dont know the prices of their rifles but i'd go with an upper and buy a different assembled lower (unless you can build your own)
i've been watching their site for a while and i think they were slammed pretty hard, the 11.5" upper with a kac urx has been backordered for a long time now, between kac's backorders and bcm i doubt ill ever be able to run instead of my dd mk18 upper

tommy is a great guy to deal with and you can build your own factory assembled daniel defense upper, i had to wait about 3 months (i think the wait has gone down some since then) but i got a factory complete mk18 mod 1 upper for about 700 shipped

Centurion Arms puts out some pretty mean guns as well. I believe it's ran by a former Team guy. I've heard great reviews about their barrels (light contour, double chrome-lined but sub-moa accurate on his MK18 upper) and his rails look intriguing. This is the same guy who came out with the 416 sights for the M4 height sight radius.

BCM is a mid-cost area yet among the highest quality. Tolerance testing, mil-spec, Mag part test, the list goes on. Built well great value in my opinion. I grabbed a KAC SR15 over it because when I looked at what it would cost me to do the BCM the same as the SR15 the BCM was more and I felt as if I got more for the KAC. But for an entry level configuration they are excellent. You can find colts nows 6920 for a great price too! Smartgunner is a good spot (Ok I have heard mixed...he is slow) for DD stuff but dont expect to hear from him for 6-8 weeks, he is backed up heavy!! You will get voicemail a lot...just remember you get it the want your DD is pretty awesome from them, you pick the length, rails, lower (Ok it is just an LMT SOPMOD but still it is an awesome lower...one of my favorites with a 2-stage match trig), muzzle brake/flash hider. He doesnt have a DD setup that allows you to kit it for 14.5 middy or anything in 14.5. But still. You will still need a BCG, Charge handle and backup sights but you are looking at 1100 for a DD with an excellent rail system, top notch lower, and best barrels. Factor in 150 for BCM BCG and 30 for Handle, plus 179 for flip ups sights you have a great rifle...ok an excellent rifle!!!!! Just my 2 cents. I seem to have bought in the past and always seem to start adding stuff later instead of just getting it the way I like, I would have saved a ton of cabbage that way.

With BCM ( I own more than a few) you cannot go wrong. It would be very, very hard to beat a BCM. They are one of a few company besides Colt that actually follow and certify that their products meets or exceeds the actual TDP (Technical Data Package) which means that they are actually Mil Spec in the sense that they meet all Mil Specs requirements according to the TDP and have the certifications to back it up. You can even ask for a copy of the cert and they will provide it.

As far as price point, you cannot beat their prices. I have yet to see something of the same quality for less. They do not cut corners to keep the costs down. They make their profit through volume.

I will make you a deal. You buy a BCM and are not happy with it, I will buy it from you plus 10%.

Wow, I'd like to get in on that bet, ACRfan. I doubt I'd have to collect on it. I want to get a lightweight M4 to counter my ACR. I was looking hard at Daniel Defense, but I've heard a lot of good things about BCM.
