so i went to the range a couple days back and put some serious rounds down range i think i put about 200-300 through my rifle in one day. i broke my rifle down for a good ol cleaning and when i reassembled the barrel to the upper i was kind worried about the barrel wrench going further than it should. you would think they would have checked everything from the "recall" but i dont know im just worried and over anal about my rifles what do yall think. those of you who had trouble with it how extreme was the wrench over?

As long as it's tight, mine is between 6 and 7 o'clock,no problem. But i did send the upper to bushmaster because the wrench handle was loose and i couldn't tighten it.They replaced the bolt with a torx head bolt. The handle can be loose but that won't effect the barrel(loose or tight).

My barrel wrench is at 7 o'clock, but the barrel is tight. As long as the barrel is tight I think your ok. Mine is still shooting 2-3 inches with xm193 at 100 yards. Off the bench with good glass.

Mine is at around 7 o'clock too. As long as the ratchet is biting the lock plate and the handguard still goes on there isn't much of a problem methinks.
