I found the number and called in a few weeks ago. I was bout to run another search online but figured someone here might have it and would like to share .

As soon as my can hits the FFL I've got even more waiting, but it all comes with the goods right?

I just got my forms in and check cashed (8/2) for an SBR I'm getting made, so I've got a while to wait. I'm assuming it enters "pending" status when the payment is accepted.

Weird that it shows up on my account as an automated debit rather than a cashed check... Anybody else get that?

My experience with ATF-NFA (being a past ffl holder)(and owning numerous "NFA" items is that when your paperwork goes pending after the check/money order is cashed/deposited.
For the most part you got at least a 3-5month wait for SBR"S, SBS, AOW"S.
"Cans" & DD's on the other hand 4-7 months.
I just recieved a "DD"(form-1) that i did 6 mos ago, & a "can" paperwork (form-4) which was sent in 4 mos ago, but thats not to say the times can be longer or shorter.
For example i just transfered/purchased in (2) machinegun recievers to my "PD" and the paperwork was back in just under 14 days....so any one who tells you "because you have done this before, it will speed up your paperwork" is lying to ya!
Fact remains, theyll get it done when they feel like it, and im sure the "budget" thing whilst being a gov't employee wont spped anything up either...lol

The examiners have been re-organized. Don't know if this a plus as far as times go. Will be finding out shortly. Suppressor paper work about to go in.

Last two were right at 4 months (SBR and suppressor). They were both submitted in December 2010 and received in March 2011

The difference in balance is night & day. Mounted the AAC Brakeout (762SDN6 FORM 4 just went out)

Called in this morning. Mine is pending since Aug 11th and the lady said "5 month turnaround." So that puts me into January. At least I'll have some free time then to enjoy it. Might be a bit chilly at the range though...

My (2) Form 4s just went pending yesterday, I'm looking at around January myself.

Man, that'd be awesome (my birthday is then too)! I hope it comes back in early Dec though. With my luck, it'll show up a few days before I head out of the country for two weeks for the holidays (no chance to pick it up or get to the range). I'll sit there the whole time I'm gone dreaming of my SBR, itching to get home and trying to concentrate at remembering my Spanish...
