Ok, I haven't found the answer to this anywhere on this forum, google, ar15.com or anywhere else. I know that the average barrel made for the AR will not work with the ACR as was originally designed. I have seen where several people have however successfully put AR barrels on an ACR, specifically DD and Noveske Barrels, what process do they go through to make these work?

if you put your acr piston on a standard ar15 barrel it will be overgassed, the acr is very efficient when it comes to cycling, you will need a way to lower the gas pressure if you dont know the proper size for an acr and you need a place on your barrel to mount an op rod support to, other than that its pretty straight forward
