I remember reading either on here or somewhere else someone saying that they had a contact at Bushmaster that told them the 6.8 SPC conversion kits would be available at the end of March. I wasnt expecting to get one right away, but today is March 31st and no word on anything hitting the streets from my dealer or anyone else I know. I was hoping they would at least annouce it by now so I would know pricing/barrel length options and could start stashing acorns away from mother squirrel till I could get one. Anyone heard any updates on this? Thanks!

They're probably still jumbled up from the move. Just a SWAG but I wouldn't expect anything until late spring or summer, just my hunch.

They just updated contact information on their web site. I think the change is going to be a slow, painful, process.

Well, I guess I can just sock away my acorns for the winter then...I was hoping to get some trigger time with the 6.8 and set up my DMR configuration this summer.

yea i think i've given-up on hoping when it comes to bushmaster...i just close my eyes and imagine i am shooting 6.8 and 7.62, and right after i pull the trigger i whisper, "POW POW!" ...it works for me....cause excuses are getting to old for them idiots...

Spoke with a cs at BM/REM about my order and about caliber conversion and barrels, Like any information WTF know's He said they had a team meating to discuss BM state of affairs and Products. He said they were told now that they are in the Remmy Facility 14.5 barrels were put on hold for civilian sales and the 6.8 Caliber conversion will be the first conversion out and he said possibly by the end of the year. Just 4 weeks ago when I ordered some stuff. The guy claims he had seen a few hundred 14.5 barrels for the ACR and the 6.8 would be in the next few months. So who really knows.

Your right tho, I really don't think the CS folks really know whats going on. But they have to be there to address real warranty issue.

Has anyone weighed both the Basic hand guard and the Enhanced hand guard and determined the difference?
