If anyone does im curious if anyone has seen any deterioration of the melonite or barrel itself. I don't have much fired through mine at all but noticed alot of members seem to double the usual barrel life expectancy. Gauging or anything im curious how long these last. If im not mistaken a milspec chrome lined is 1500 minimum. I was searching around and couldn't find much. I figure its time I ask. It seems Noone is losing accuracy. The barrels seem tough enough. Im not sure if the hardcore solvents damage it or not. Thanks everyone.

I gauged barrels while I was in the service that had 10K through them and were still in spec. The measurement I would pay attention to is throat erosion.

I would think they're holding up well. The melonite coating is supposed to be durable. Those scopes are not cheap so I wasn't expecting many people to be owning one. Lots of money for something that doesn't go bang. Im sure we'll still have these barrels running true for a good while. Thanks for the reply.
