If it's strictly a laser, I like the sig laser for it's size.

Too bad they don't make this for the 229/226/220 series http://www.sigsauer.com/SigStore/238...laser-404.aspx

Streamlight TLR-2S (with strobe!). I want the X400, but just can't justify the price difference over the streamlight.

I went with the Streamlight TLR-2 because of the price. I would love to try the Surefire x400 though.

I don't have any sand box time, I'm not a soldier, but as a LEO, I have had a Surefire X200 on my duty gun for the last 10 years, same light, same DEVO group switch (that I have to put liquid rubber on to keep it waterproof - I will get a new one someday) It has worked EVERY time my life depended on it, without fail, without question, through two different Glocks - shot one so much I cracked the frame, through three holsters. I have worn the sharp edges off of the bezel. Without question I would carry the X400 if my agency allowed me to have a LASER. TOP notch, expensive, but built like a tank.

Im a little late getting on board with this thread being deprived in ny and all. Real good thread. I picked the surefire because I prefer surefire over streamlight. Even with their hand heldlights. I own both and both are durable. I picked up a streamlight for my m&p yesterday. Couldn't say no to the price. Its durable and from the thread is more so than it seems. Ill get another for my Glock when it comes in. I like the Strobe feature on the streamlight. It will be used for defense not duty so I don't need the surefire.
