With all of the rumors going about Bushmaster restructuring and the future of the ACR platform, would now be the time to pick up one of the factory 450 Bushmaster conversion kits? I have a 450 Bushmaster AR, but if the conversion kit can replace it. I might let it go to fund the purchase before these start drying up. Any input and/or advise is appreciated.
Basically the rifle will go 100k with a barrel, bolt and firing pin changed in between and solid maintenance. Im buying more acrs but selling the parts I have extra.
I probably should have added that I bought the 5.56 barrel and bolt with the original purchase. I picked up the 6.8 SPC kit when they were on sale on Black Friday. I guess I am just trying to justify picking up a factory 450 Bushmaster kit while they are available.
With the uncertainty of being available in the future, I would get one now if you want one,
