    I like that saying lol.

I finally shot the damn thing today and it shot great. It felt identical to my Sbr overall.

I have the replacement squaredrop handguard on the way now. I’ll probably swap it around so I can use that setup again. I actually prefer the squaredrop over the older generation Remington setup. It’s thinner and works better with the thumb over bore type shooting

Yup, so far I'm digging the new handguard as well. Very comfortable and I think it looks good, too.

Bd: is there a reason you need to get a replacement?..by any chance what is its weight?

I sold the first one to pay for the pistol. I had 25 dollars left in my account after I bought it. I was getting one either from stripping down another pistol or as a dealer straight from BM either way.

I’ll be stripping down a pistol this week, the only parts I’m keeping are the handguard and lower receiver so if anyone is looking for a complete new lower let me know.

The handguard weighs about 7.75 ounces. To put that in perspective, the unicorn Remington v2 rail weighs less than .25 of am once less.

For some reason my post didn’t submit from a few days ago. Anyway, bigdog, did you mod the enhanced ACR stock to make that brace or did a company actually manufacture that? Looks sick, I like it. Also, I’m curious if the pistol ACR is stamped differently than the rifle ACR? I presume legally it has to be different. Just wondering because I just finished my AR9 pistol build and the lower is stamped as “multi-cal” just like the ACR’s bolt (not the same I know); which sparks the question in my mind “if this rifle was initially built as a modular multi-cal option, why is it also not inherently a pistol?”

anyway pistol looks great man! I’ll be trying to convince myself that I don’t need one haha
