    My 6.8 ARP ACR

    Everyone,

Here are a few pictures of it done! I've edited this first post so it is easy for new readers to see.

    Everyone,

Well this project I have been talking about for a while! If you are on the forums a lot, you know this. Happy to report, all the ducks are in a row and I'm expecting this to be up an running in a month. I was waiting on a second ACR that I ordered back in November. Then with all the craziness going on, my shop told me they had a very slim chance of getting one in. Earlier this week, I worked out a deal on GunBroker for one. $2400 shipped. Not bad considering, and the barrel was shortened by ADCO, so that was a plus! All my other parts are in hand, ready to assemble. Marvin will be doing the barrel/bolt work. Already have talked with him about it. For now, I am going to put up the pictures of all the parts I have. VERY excited that this will be a reality very soon.

    Parts:
    6.8 Parts 1.jpg
ARP 6.8 Barrel. No gas port yet but has a piolet hole, but area is setup for ACR gas block.
Leupold Mark 4 3.5-10x Mil-Dot, Illuminated with Mark 2 mount.
PTS PRS modification was scrapped. Old picture.

    6.8 Handguard.jpg
Argonauts Reincorporated Ltd. ACR Skeleton Handguard in steel. Mounted it on my SBR ACR just to see how it looks mounted up.

    6.8 Parts 2.jpg
PRI 15 round magazines, BA Battlecomp.

    6.8 PRS.jpg
Argonauts Reincorporated Ltd. ACR to AR stock adapter with PRS stock.

More parts are on the way!

Oh man! Building a 6.8 ACR... you've got my full attention now! What will you be doing for a bolt? Sorry if I missed details on this earlier. Definitely looking forward to hearing how this all comes together. I want to convert my brown ACR to 6.8 so bad I can't stand it.

Marvin is going to just open the stock bolt up. Said it should not be an issue and will work.

Yes I did. It had a SBR. Thinking I may part with that barrel though, as I have quite a few already.

Was it 10.5? I can't remember the details, just remember looking at it thinking it was a possible bidder.

Looks familiar! Hope it works out for you. Marvin knows his stuff, so it should be fine.
