    Approvement of first posts

    Hello,
I made a first post a few weeks ago which never showed up in the forum, so it seems that it somehow wasn't approved.
That first post is NOT RELEVANT ANY MORE, so please don't approve it now.
However, meanwhile I bought an ACR and a few minutes ago I submitted a new post with questions on the wear condition of that rifle.
My last post is URGENT. I have to decide if I keep or return the rifle within the next days. Please approve my last post as soon as possible.
    Thank you!

Admin, this seems to have happened a couple times closely in recent history. Any way to spread the love with regard to approving first posts? Maybe flagging the other mods as a must-do?

These guys are coming here for help in most cases and will probably be long time members if the first post garnishes the info they're looking for.

I had a look at the moderation filter an it's set quite low. Apart from Lederhose's post there aren't any posts to moderate. Do you notice users having this issue regularly?

Thanks, I'll keep an close eye on it in the future to see if I can find a pattern. What can sometimes happen is the system will hold a post if it has too many special characters in it (+_*&^%$#) as it thinks it might be spam. Thanks again.

Maybe in this case it was a lot of caps lock or numbers in the body. Dunno.

Could be. Sometimes the spam filter has a mind of it's own when it comes to these things.
