    Ambi Charging Handles

    123
So I got tired of waiting for ambi charging handles from bushmaster and had some extra 6al4v titanium laying around at work so I whipped these babies out this afternoon. They're produced from solid bar-stock 6al4v and the two of them weigh as much as the single original handle. What do you guys think?

I'm not wrong handed, but kinda want an OEM looking dual in coyote but that looks pretty nice.

    Nice work!

When you insert them do they overlap to engage the locking mechanism? I only ask because it's in two pieces.

Edit.... OK upon further observation of the photos I can see they do stack / overlap each other. Only draw back to this is the right side will ride higher than the left or vice versa. It could possibly cause an optic clearance issues with some applications. You could machine an offset on each side to counter this.

Actually they were machined with offset so they sit even with each-other. The nice thing is that I was able to machine the overall height so that there's very little wobble left in the handles unlike the factory original.

Honestly, I hadn't considered producing them for sale. What do you think would be a fair asking price for the set if they were to be sold?

Awesome. I would buy one, but i wouldn't want an ambi version just one side would work for me. Nice work!

    Outstanding!

Well since you mentioned that I'd be interested in a set if the price was right. I don't have the equipment to machine them like that and don't think I'm going to for a while.

Outstanding work. Depending on materials and time, id say 75-100 bucks?
